You ever wonder why?

People hate light themes so badly?

I do and it is mainly because people who use white themes are literal mental freaks. Why?

You may ask? Mostly because normal people aren't used to the literal sheer amount of light that comes from such a BASED setting and I get why. You truly have to like the contrast that a light theme comes with, I know I do. :P

Like I get it; tis late at night and you don't wanna singe your eye-balls out but for going to a library and just typing out a document or some code in notepad++ it works great! Especially when you have the sun shining onto your shitty tft non ips screen on your Hell at the library and it kinda gives it that e-paper kind of look if you know what I mean. But you may ask
"well that is all well and good but like who is in a position such that a light theme is even remotely usable in that regard". Well idk geeks I guess, people who wanna do ultra casual computing on the go, people who enjoy public spaces and enjoying themselves like the literal man-childs they are as they order coffee at their local coffee shop or eat a bagel over their laptop getting crumbs in the keyboard that they can never get them out. (Yes my keyboard is all crumbly)

I don't know, I guess but with the ever rising number of people staying at home all day in dark places light themes may just be a legit hindrance but I don't want people to shit on other people online for using light themes when they have a legit good reason to do so.

Plus people may just have a personal preference in using them to begin with.
